The exhibition titled "BREATHING" prepared by the Fotokolektif workshop participants was opened in the Cermodern Foyer Exhibition Hall as part of the UVECD / National Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Association's "KTEPH IN MIND" awareness day. Isa Özdemir was the curator of the exhibition, in which 37 photographers participated with 83 photographs.
It is aimed to raise awareness because CTEPH (Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension), known as clot-related pulmonary tension in its simplest definition, is not known to the public.
Clogging of blood vessels in the lung primarily affects breathing, that is, it creates problems in our breathing flow. In this context, the theme of the exhibition is determined as "Breath". Losses in our breathing are a consequence; The factor that reveals this problem is the occlusion in the vein. As the exhibition photographs are formed from the contact of breath, the cause of the problem and the results it brings out are also tried to be opened. In this context, besides breath contact, clogging, constriction, breaking the bond, rupture from the main part, rotting, blocking, deficiency, cessation of flow, extinction, loss of function, failure, deterioration etc. Issues such as the content of the exhibition.
